Be'er Sheva police have exposed an apartment in the city center where eight illegal residents were living. Over the weekend, Southern District Police Commander, Nitzav Haim Bublil, signed an administrative closure order for the property.

On August 16, officers from the Be'er Sheva station conducted an enforcement operation at the residence, where they discovered eight individuals from the territories residing in a partitioned apartment without valid stay permits. All suspects were arrested and transferred to the Be'er Sheva station for further investigation. Following the inquiry, police recommended the closure of the apartment, leading the District Commander to sign the 30-day administrative order.

This follows an incident approximately two weeks ago at the Tarqumiya crossing, where five illegal residents were discovered inside a vehicle. Three were found in the back seat, while two were hiding in the trunk. The driver, a resident of Petah Tikva in his 30s, was arrested on suspicion of transporting the individuals while his driver's license was under suspension.
