The collapse was reportedly preceded by a confrontation between the security guard and a man in his 40s whom he prevented from entering the show in Karmiel. The man has been arrested, and police are investigating whether he was intoxicated.

A security guard in his 60s collapsed outside a Tipex and Gali Atari concert at the Baruch Center parking lot in Karmiel and was evacuated to the hospital in Nahariya in serious condition. The incident was preceded by a confrontation between him and a man in his 40s whom he had apparently prevented from entering the show, after which the security guard called the police, claiming the man had acted violently against him.
The guard collapsed while speaking to the police officers who arrived at the scene, in front of the audience standing outside the show, which is taking place as part of the "Israeli Spirit" festival in the city, and in which the band Shazamat is also participating. The man with whom the guard had the confrontation was arrested, and a suspicion that he was intoxicated is being investigated. The report was received at the MADA 101 emergency center at 21:14.
Paramedic Nir Kazdo and medic Mario Maraeb said:
«We saw the man lying on the floor unconscious, with no pulse and no breathing. We provided him with life-saving medical treatment that included prolonged resuscitation efforts and the administration of electric shocks using a defibrillator. After a few minutes, his heart started beating again. We evacuated him to the hospital while continuing to provide medical treatment, and his condition is serious.»
In another incident around 18:50 this evening, a woman in her 30s was found unconscious in a house in Hadera. MADA teams that arrived at the scene were forced to pronounce her dead. The circumstances of her death are under investigation.
