Bomb Scare on Turkish Flight After Threatening Note Discovered
A bomb threat on an AJet flight from Ankara to Şanlıurfa triggered emergency protocols, leading to a safe landing and evacuation of 136 passengers.

A bomb scare disrupted a domestic flight in Turkey after a threatening note was discovered on board an AJet aircraft traveling from Ankara to Şanlıurfa.
Flight VF4180, which departed from Ankara at 19:00, landed safely at GAP Airport in Şanlıurfa at 20:05. According to provincial governor Hasan Şıldak, 136 passengers and seven crew members were on board and were safely evacuated following the landing.
Security forces and bomb disposal squads immediately initiated thorough searches inside the aircraft. Authorities have not yet confirmed the presence of any actual explosive device as investigations into the origin of the note continue.
