Almost three years after the October 7 massacre and the beginning of the 'Iron Swords' war, the IDF continues its systematic efforts to locate and destroy Hamas terrorist infrastructure in the Gaza Strip. Even now, while IDF forces are deployed in accordance with the ceasefire framework, operations continue to remove threats and dismantle the terrorist organization's military capabilities.

Forces of the Northern Brigade and the Yahalom unit, under the command of the 99th Division, destroyed another underground route of Hamas in the northern Gaza Strip, east of the yellow line. The route, which spans hundreds of meters, was destroyed as part of a brigade-level operation to eliminate the organization's tunnel network.

The IDF released footage from inside the destroyed tunnel as well as the moment of its destruction, illustrating the scale of the engineering activity in the field. The army emphasized that Southern Command forces will continue to operate in accordance with the ceasefire framework while removing any immediate threat to IDF troops and the citizens of Israel.
