Contact with the cyclist had been lost about a week ago, prompting authorities to launch a search operation. The discovery of his body was confirmed today.
Following the report, the ZAKA International Unit began working in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and in coordination with Finnish authorities and the man's family in Israel.
Efforts are currently focused on completing the necessary procedures to return the deceased's body to Israel for burial.
