"All I want is to know what happened to my son": She woke up to her son's cries and found him seriously wounded

A mother from Haifa woke up early in the morning to the cries of her teenage son and found him in his room with stab wounds and in serious condition. The teenager was evacuated to the hospital suffering from stab wounds to the thigh, a head injury, and a deep stab wound to the abdomen. He has since been sedated and intubated.

In an interview with N12, the mother described her desperate search for answers regarding the events leading up to the incident:

"I have been looking for answers since the night. I spoke with his friends, I tried to understand what happened, and no one knows anything. We are a normative family; there were no warning signs that could have hinted at such a thing."

Having worked in the medical field for years, the mother noted that she had treated victims of violence in the past, but never imagined finding herself on the other side of the hallway. She rejects any attempt to link her son to the criminal world, describing him as a student at one of the city's leading schools who had never been in trouble before.

The teenager underwent surgery, but his condition remains critical, and he is expected to undergo another procedure tomorrow.

Officers from the Haifa station and the Carmel district have launched an investigation, conducting searches and collecting evidence with forensic teams. While the police believe the background to the incident is criminal, no suspects have been arrested at this stage, and the exact circumstances remain under investigation.
