Israeli police have dismantled a suspected hit squad following the fatal shooting of a man in Tira on September 10. The Central Unit (YamAR) of the Sharon District arrested three suspects, accusing them of meticulously planning and executing the assassination after days of preparation.

The Central District Attorney's Office is set to file formal indictments against the three suspects, charging them with aggravated murder and requesting their detention until the conclusion of legal proceedings. Investigators revealed that the killing was not a spontaneous act, but a coordinated conspiracy involving assigned roles to ensure its completion.

According to the police investigation, the suspects ambushed the victim near his home on the evening of the incident. One suspect served as a lookout, a second drove the getaway and blocking vehicle, and a third approached the victim's car armed with a handgun, firing multiple rounds through the window and door.

Central District Commander Avi Cohen praised the operation: "The solving of this murder and the exposure of the hit squad are the result of determined and uncompromising work by our investigators. We will continue our steadfast fight against violent crime in the Arab sector to ensure public safety."
