A 17-year-old minor from The North was arrested on suspicion of operating an extensive Telegram network that traded in intimate photos and videos of women and underage girls. The suspect allegedly generated tens of thousands of shekels through the illicit operation, dubbed Operation Conveyor Belt by law enforcement.

The investigation was launched several months ago following a report to the 105 National Cyber Bureau hotline. According to police suspicions, the teenager managed multiple Telegram groups where the sensitive content was distributed, charging users hundreds of shekels each for access.

On Wednesday, undercover detectives raided the homes of the primary suspects and arrested several accomplices. Authorities stated that many of the victims were completely unaware that their private media had fallen into the hands of the suspects or was being used for profit.

Additionally, dozens of suspects from across the country who purchased the explicit materials were brought in for questioning. Police emphasize that the buyers acquired the content with full knowledge that it involved minors and lacked the victims' consent.

The Nazareth Magistrates Court is scheduled to hear police requests for the extension of the main suspects' detention. The investigation remains ongoing.
