Israeli police announced road closures near the Tel HaShomer recruitment base in Kiryat Ono ahead of a planned demonstration at 1:00 PM. Authorities reported that protesters had already gathered outside the facility by morning, prompting the deployment of reinforced police forces to maintain public order and manage traffic.

Traffic restrictions include the closure of three junctions along Yaakov Dori Street leading to the recruitment base: the Yaakov Dori-Gildesgame junction, the Yaakov Dori-Shaar Shalheket junction, and the Yaakov Dori-Nahal Dan junction. Police declared the gathering an illegal assembly and urged motorists to avoid the area and seek alternative routes.

The demonstrations follow a violent protest by ultra-Orthodox demonstrators on Thursday along Route 4 near Bnei Brak, opposing the detention of Alon Samadja, a Jerusalem resident held at Military Prison 10 for failing to report for military service. During Thursday's clashes, hundreds of protesters blocked Route 4 and the Geha Interchange, throwing stones at security forces and injuring three police officers, two of whom required hospital treatment. Additionally, a television crew member sustained a head injury from a thrown stone before police dispersed the crowd and reopened the highway.
