South Tel Aviv Foot Chase Ends in Arrest Over Bicycle Shop Break-In
A foreign national in his 40s was arrested in southern Tel Aviv following a foot chase after allegedly breaking into a bicycle shop. Police recovered stolen electric bikes and gear.

A foot chase in southern Tel Aviv resulted in the arrest of a foreign national in his 40s suspected of breaking into a bicycle shop. Police officers from the Sheurat station spotted the suspect climbing a building wall and fleeing. After a short pursuit, he was found hiding in an abandoned courtyard with stolen electric bicycles and equipment.
The incident took place on Saturday evening during operational activities on Rıbal Street. Upon noticing the police, the suspect attempted to escape on foot. Officers pursued him and apprehended him nearby.
During searches along his escape route, four electric bicycles and bicycle seats were recovered. A search of the suspect's person also yielded keys and locks allegedly stolen from the targeted shop.
The suspect was taken to the Sheurat police station for questioning and subsequently detained. He was brought before a court, which extended his remand until tomorrow.
