Talya Bartfeld: "I screamed so loud, the neighbors called the police"
Ahead of the new season of "Life is a Difficult Period," 25-year-old actress Talya Bartfeld shares a bizarre behind-the-scenes moment. Her performance was so convincing that neighbors called the police, fearing she was attempting suicide.

At just 25 years old, Talya Bartfeld has already achieved significant career milestones. Ahead of the new season of "Life is a Difficult Period" (premiering tonight on Keshet 12), the actress and comedian shared a story on Instagram about a moment on set that led to an unexpected visit from the police.
"I screamed so loud and so many times the phrase 'I want to die' — not on my own initiative, that's how it was written for me — that the neighbors called the police because they thought I was committing suicide. This is a series where everyone involved in its creation has an IQ under thirty, and that's why it's so funny," Bartfeld wrote.
Bartfeld joins the new season as the roommate and best friend of Neta Roth, who plays the daughter of Hanoch Daum. The dynamic mirrors their real-life friendship, as the two are close off-screen as well. In an interview this morning, Roth commented on her friend's performance: "You won't believe it, she plays a crazy person."
