Tally Gotliv in sharp attack: "A disgraceful step that mocks Likud voters"

Knesset member Tally Gotliv published a sharp critique on the X network against Defense Minister Israel Katz, following the decision to grant him a reserved spot in the Likud party instead of competing in the primaries. Gotliv attacked the move and Katz himself, using sharp and sarcastic remarks.

"Israel Katz, the man and the secrecy, the man and the 'season', the man who feared the primary results very much, and rightly so, gets a reserved spot in the Likud party," wrote Gotliv, making a historical allusion to the "season" period (the persecution of Irgun and Lehi members by the Haganah). According to her, the reserved spot is not just a political decision, but a move that she claims directly harms the party's registered members.

"A disgraceful step that mocks Likud voters," the Knesset member added, directing her criticism also at the question of the party leadership's priorities. Gotliv claimed that while Likud voters understand, according to her, the importance of the struggle against the judicial system, some of the veteran ministers do not give the issue the proper place. "One thing they understand better than all the veteran ministers, and that is the necessity to fight the legal junta that persecutes the right-wing government and right-wing figures," she wrote.

Gotliv also included in the post a cynical reference to Katz's primary video, which featured the phrase "boom boom boom." At the end of her remarks, she wrote: "And as the saying goes in Katz's primary video, 'boom boom boom'."

The post expresses sharp internal criticism within Likud, with Gotliv placing the question of competing in the primaries at the center, alongside the dispute over the level of commitment to the legal struggle and the values she identifies with the party's voting public.
