The Southern District Attorney's Office has filed an indictment against two teenagers from Be'er Sheva, following allegations that they stalked an elderly woman and her partner, attacked them, and robbed her of a bag containing over 150 shekels in cash. During the assault, the elderly woman was knocked down and dragged along the ground as she attempted to prevent the defendants from taking her bag.

The indictment states that in late July, the two teenagers spotted the 75-year-old woman and her 80-year-old partner near a store in Neighborhood 11 in Be'er Sheva. According to the charges, the pair waited for the woman to leave the store and then followed the couple.

It is alleged that at a certain point, the two put on masks and assaulted the couple. One of the defendants snatched a shopping bag from the woman's hands and attempted to take the bag hanging from her shoulder. The woman held onto the bag tightly, and in response, the defendant dragged her along the ground until the strap tore, allowing him to seize it.

Following the robbery, one of the defendants fled the scene with the bag and the shopping bag, the latter of which he later discarded. The stolen bag contained over 150 shekels in cash, a credit card, a mobile phone, an ID card, a health insurance card, and a Rav-Kav transit card. As a result of the attack, the woman suffered scratches and bruises on her back, wrist, and elbow area, while her partner sustained bruises on the back of his neck.
