Following road dispute: Wolt courier arrested for stabbing bus driver

A 33-year-old Wolt courier from Bnei Brak was arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of stabbing a bus driver in Ramat Gan following a dispute on the road. The suspect fled the scene immediately after the incident. The bus driver sustained light injuries and was evacuated for medical treatment.

The investigation was launched last week at the Bnei Brak-Ramat Gan police station following reports of a motorcyclist who allegedly stabbed the driver.

As part of the investigation, detectives gathered evidence and successfully identified the suspect. Yesterday, officers located him in Tel Aviv and took him into custody.

A search of the suspect's belongings revealed sharp objects and scissors. He was brought to the Bnei Brak-Ramat Gan station for questioning and subsequently detained. This morning, the suspect is scheduled to appear at the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court, where police will request an extension of his detention.

Wolt has not provided a comment on the matter.
