Following her refusal to meet: A Ramat Gan resident impersonated another person, returned and attacked her
After the woman canceled a meeting for 5,000 shekels, a 53-year-old man opened a new profile and offered the complainant 10,000 shekels to meet him. When she arrived at the apartment and discovered his identity, he threatened her and attacked her. In another count, he is accused of impersonating a young woman, publishing her photos, and threatening her.
A woman who met a man on the "Sugar Daddy" dating site backed out of a meeting they had scheduled at a hotel in Eilat for 5,000 shekels. However, according to the indictment, the man, a 53-year-old resident of Ramat Gan, did not give up: he opened a new profile, impersonated another person, and approached her again — this time with an offer of 10,000 shekels for a meeting.
When she arrived at the apartment in Tel Aviv and discovered who was standing in front of her, it is alleged that he threatened her, saying, "You will pay dearly for your disrespect," and subsequently attacked her and committed a forcible indecent act against her.
According to the first count, the defendant established contact with a woman on the "Sugar Daddy" dating site. The two agreed to meet at a hotel in Eilat for 5,000 shekels. The defendant booked a room, but the woman later informed him she was not interested. In an attempt to continue the connection, he opened a new profile, presenting himself as another person, and offered her 10,000 shekels to meet.
They agreed to meet at an apartment on Heil HaShiryon Street in Tel Aviv. Upon arrival, the woman realized the person before her was the same man she was supposed to meet in Eilat. According to the indictment, the defendant threatened her, claiming she owed him money for the hotel expenses he incurred.
From that point, the event became violent. The defendant pushed the complainant onto a sofa, threatened her, and committed a forcible indecent act. He then pushed her to the floor, sat on her, and attempted to strangle her. When she screamed for help, he covered her mouth with one hand while continuing to strangle her with the other.
The complainant struggled to escape. At one point, he rose and held a pillow over her face while she screamed. He then dragged her to an adjacent room, where she continued to struggle. The indictment notes that while the complainant was praying, the defendant suddenly calmed down and apologized. She asked to leave, and he accompanied her outside, begging her to stay.
As a result, the complainant suffered injuries, including hematomas and abrasions, and required medical treatment. The prosecution charges the defendant with impersonation, threats, forcible indecent acts, and assault causing actual bodily harm.
The second count refers to another young woman who had no prior acquaintance with the defendant. According to the indictment, he contacted her via Telegram under the profile "Ziad," threatening to "ruin her life" and drive her to suicide.
Subsequently, the defendant opened fake profiles on Instagram and "Sugar Daddy" using the complainant's name and photos. Under these profiles, he impersonated her, conducted sexual correspondence with others, and published her nude photos. He repeatedly sent threatening messages to her mobile phone, demanding she not contact the police, and continued his harassment even after she blocked his number. He is charged with threats, invasion of privacy, and harassment using a telecommunication facility.
