Strauss, which operates the Tami 4 water bar brand, offers a variety of home devices, including models tailored for the religious public and systems featuring a built-in soda maker. On the surface, these devices are designed to make life easier and eliminate the need to carry heavy water bottles. However, when a device breaks down and customer service is required, consumer complaints suggest that the real problems begin.

Consumer Complaints Regarding Service Delays

Within the Facebook group "Tami 4 Victims," customers regularly publish complaints about the service they receive from the company. Some consumers report that despite paying a monthly service fee, when a critical issue arises, they are forced to wait days or even weeks for a technician, perform preliminary troubleshooting on their own, and accommodate rigid company scheduling.

"I have been a Tami 4 customer since 1997, and all these years I have paid monthly for service. But when you really need the service – that's when the problems start," wrote one long-time user.

According to customers, before a technician appointment can even be booked, users are required to conduct tests themselves and remain next to the device to attempt troubleshooting. Furthermore, clients frequently report that no technician is available for at least a week. When an appointment is finally secured, customers are often forced to take a day off work.

Financial Conduct and Technical Reliability

Beyond appointment delays, consumers raise concerns regarding technical reliability and financial practices. Several posts highlight recurring malfunctions, long waiting periods for spare parts, and disputed charges.

  • Waiting times often exceed a week for basic repairs.

  • Technicians occasionally arrive without the necessary replacement parts, restarting the waiting cycle.

  • Billing practices have been labeled predatory by dissatisfied clients.

In response to these allegations, Strauss Tami 4 stated: "Unfortunately, since no details were provided regarding the specific cases mentioned, we are unable to investigate them individually. The company serves over 900,000 customers and continuously invests in product development and service quality. We would be glad to receive the specific details to complete our review."
