Fighters of the 401st Brigade and the Yahalom unit continue to strike terrorist infrastructure in southern Lebanon and have destroyed an underground headquarters belonging to Hezbollah. The forces located the complex structure and acted to neutralize it.
The length of the route that was exposed and destroyed was approximately 55 meters. During scans inside, the forces discovered three living quarters used by the terrorists.
Under a factory and near UNIFIL
The location of the headquarters highlights the methods used by Hezbollah: the route was built directly beneath a construction materials factory, just 300 meters from a UNIFIL facility.
In addition, an underground shaft used by the enemy was located in the vicinity, where forces seized dozens of weapons.
