Suspicion: Bag with pistols thrown onto roof during police search in Tayibe
During a police search in Tayibe, a bag containing two Glock pistols, magazines, ammunition, and a black mask was found on the roof of a building. Two young men were arrested, and three other residents were detained for questioning.
Five residents of Tayibe were arrested and detained for questioning after two pistols, magazines, and ammunition were found in a bag on the roof of a building in the city. It is suspected that the bag was thrown onto the roof during police operations at the scene.
The incident occurred yesterday as part of the activities of the task force operating in Tayibe. Detectives from the Tayibe station in the Central District, along with officers from the Central National Guard of the Border Police (Magav), arrived at a building in the city to execute a search warrant.
During the search, a green bag was found on the roof of the building, which is suspected to have been discarded there by the suspects. Inside, the forces found two Glock-type pistols, seven magazines, ammunition, gloves, and a black mask. Two Tayibe residents, aged 18 and 20, were arrested and taken for questioning. At the same time, two female residents of the city, aged 21 and 42, as well as another 48-year-old resident, were detained.
The police stated that the activity in the city is being carried out as part of the fight against criminal elements and the possession of illegal weapons.
