A 57-year-old resident of Tira was shot to death this evening (Wednesday) in Tayibe. His death was pronounced at the scene by medical personnel. Police officers from the Sharon District of the Tayibe station arrived at the scene, began collecting evidence and isolating the area, and simultaneously launched a manhunt for the suspects.

According to the police statement, the background to the shooting incident is apparently an ongoing blood feud. The circumstances of the incident are being examined as part of the investigation opened at the scene.

MADA reported that at 21:09, a call was received at the 101 dispatch center in the Yarkon District regarding a man injured in a violent incident in Tayibe. Medics and paramedics who arrived at the scene found the man suffering from penetrating wounds and with no signs of life, and pronounced his death at the scene.

MADA paramedic Younis Haj Yahya and emergency medical technician Adi Piyumi said: "When we arrived at the scene, we noticed a 57-year-old man who was unconscious, without a pulse and without breathing, and suffering from penetrating wounds to his body. We performed medical checks, but his injury was critical and we were forced to pronounce his death at the scene."
