Journalist Shlomi Eldar Hospitalized for Tumor Removal in Ashdod

Prominent Israeli journalist and documentary filmmaker Shlomi Eldar revealed that he was recently hospitalized at Assuta Hospital in Ashdod to undergo a medical procedure for tumor removal.

Eldar, who has already completed the successful procedure, shared a post from the hospital expressing his deep gratitude to the medical staff and praising the exceptionally high professional standards at the facility.

"I was hospitalized to remove a tumor at Assuta Hospital in Ashdod. I am after the medical procedure," Eldar wrote, commending the dedicated doctors, nurses, and support teams for providing world-class care.

Eldar is a veteran journalist specializing in Palestinian affairs, the Gaza Strip, and Hamas. Over the years, he has worked for Channel 1 and News 10, and received the Sokolov Journalism Award and Ophir Awards for his documentary works.
