Social media star Shaul Hacham has scored a major legal victory, winning a massive defamation lawsuit against Tamir Spiller, the operator of the popular satirical Instagram page Israel Figur.
The legal battle erupted following a satirical post claiming Hacham was in a relationship with reality TV alumnus Mira Noach. While the page operators argued it was purely humorous, Hacham filed a 160,000-shekel lawsuit in April 2026.
The page operators recently broke their silence in a dramatic Instagram story, revealing they were ordered to pay roughly 177,000 shekels. They lamented that even selling the page and a kidney would not suffice to cover the staggering amount.
Attacking Hacham for allegedly seeking headlines, the operators vowed to fight back. It remains to be seen whether the parties will reach a settlement or if the feud will escalate further.
