Shaul Amsterdamski finds a new income stream: "Need to cover expenses"
The subscription program on Elon Musk's X network has won over the Kan 11 economic commentator, who discovered a way to generate additional monthly income.

In 2022, billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk acquired the social network Twitter for approximately 44 billion dollars. One of the primary changes he implemented, alongside rebranding to X and adopting a black theme for the application, was the establishment of a subscription program that allows leading content creators to share in the platform's profits.
On Sunday, a discussion emerged on X regarding the benefits of the subscription model, largely due to its limited adoption among the Israeli public. Kan 11 economic commentator Shaul Amsterdamski noted: "I have yet to find a single good reason to pay for this service."
In response, users pointed out that given his significant reach of approximately 250,000 followers, he could potentially earn thousands of shekels per month from X. Convinced by the feedback, Amsterdamski announced: "Okay, fine guys, you convinced me. I really do need to cover the expenses for 'Israel Shel Cafe' somehow."
'Israel Shel Cafe' is an online venture established by Amsterdamski using advanced artificial intelligence tools for Israelis interested in quality coffee. The site features a map of coffee roasters across Israel, as well as listings for leading cafes in selected cities.
