Shahar Hasson and Yael Elkana Cast in New Comedy Film 'The Best to Fly'
Israeli comedian Shahar Hasson and actress Yael Elkana have been cast in United's new comedy film, 'The Best to Fly', marking another major milestone in Hasson's career.
Shahahar Hasson, one of Israel's most prominent and successful comedians, has landed a major role in United's upcoming comedy film titled 'The Best to Fly'. According to journalist Gil Mishali, the star will bring his signature humor to the big screen once again.
It was also revealed that actress and model Yael Elkana, known for her roles in hit television series such as 'The Chef', 'The Baker and the Beauty', and 'Kibbutznikim', will join the star-studded cast. In the film, Hasson portrays a clever hustler who receives a once-in-a-lifetime chance to escape military prison on the condition that he enlists in a pilot training course as part of a social experiment conducted by the air force.
Earlier this year, Hasson made his cinematic debut in the comedy 'Hill 338', a loving tribute to the classic Israeli cult film 'Halfon Hill Doesn't Answer'. The project featured a prominent ensemble cast including Eli Yatzpan, Yael Poliakoff, Kim Or Azulay, and Tal Friedman, cementing his transition from the stand-up stage to feature films after a career spanning over 25 years.
