Some actors say they were born for the stage, living and breathing it from day one, but for Sean Saouti, that was not the case at all. He was first introduced to the world of acting during childhood because of a neighbor who was a shepherd and two sheep. When he was 8 years old, he had a neighbor named Zanzuri who raised sheep. He spent all day with Zanzuri's son in the fields, and one day they were asked to bring two sheep for a play being staged in Or Yehuda. He had to walk across the stage with the sheep and was asked if he wanted to come along. That was the first time he saw what theater was, and he still remembers the applause and the excitement of the crowd when they stepped onto the stage with the sheep. It is something that stayed with him.

He admits he was a tough kid who hated school, frequently getting into fights not out of malice, but out of a misplaced sense of loyalty. Academics were a struggle, and it wasn't until later that he realized he was naturally left-handed, though forced to write with his right hand, making writing exhausting. After bouncing through troubled school years, facing disciplinary actions, and struggling with expectations without feeling respected, a turning point came when a school principal in Yehud made it clear she believed in him despite his rebellious behavior. At age 15, he made a clean break from the negative influences and drugs that had briefly tempted him, cutting ties overnight.

With zero background in classical acting or prestigious institutions like Nissan Nativ initially, Saouti stumbled into an audition where he was asked to play an electric wire and a refrigerator. His raw, unfiltered talent blew the examiners away. Yet, breaking through wasn't immediate. At 34, after years of juggling waiting tables at wedding halls and facing devastating financial setbacks—including a sudden debt that forced him back to his parents' home—he nearly gave up. His persistence finally paid off, landing major television roles in series like HaPshuta and Anashim Shagashati after breakout turns in Tachrir and Hooligans.

Today, Saouti is one of Israel's busiest actors, carefully avoiding being typecast strictly as tough guys or criminals, striving to show vulnerability and emotional depth. Alongside his blossoming career, he maintains a high-profile relationship with social media influencer Milana Vino. Looking to the future, Saouti wants to use his journey to inspire at-risk youth, reminding them that finding their own magic is possible even when the world tells them otherwise.
