Sarit Hadad breaks records: Revenues of 8 million shekels in one evening
The much-anticipated concert marking Sarit Hadad's 30-year career sold 22,000 tickets. Financial details of the massive production have now been revealed.

The news of the rapid sell-out of Sarit Hadad's 30-year career concert at Yarkon Park, scheduled for September 16, 2026, has made waves in the local music industry. All tickets were sold out shortly after sales opened, with prices ranging from 229 to 499 shekels. Unlike routine park concerts, this event was specifically planned as a full seating complex, pre-determining an audience capacity of about 22,000 spectators.
An examination of the revenue turnover shows impressive numbers. The total gross revenue from ticket sales stands at approximately 7.5 to 8.5 million shekels, representing the total volume of financial activity before mandatory deductions and operational costs.
Out of the total gross revenue, the first portion transferred to the state treasury is Value Added Tax (VAT) at a rate of 18 percent, reducing the total by approximately 1.15 to 1.3 million shekels.
Producing a seating concert of this magnitude involves large logistical expenses. Rent paid to the 'Ganei Yehoshua' company (Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipality), alongside payments for electricity infrastructure, generators, fencing, and the construction of dedicated seating stands, are estimated at 800,000 to 1.2 million shekels. Simultaneously, lighting, sound, and peripheral LED screens require a production investment of an additional 1.5 to 2 million shekels.
Another significant factor concerns security, licensing, and public safety. Requirements from the Israel Police, MADA, the Fire Department, and private security firms necessitate the deployment of hundreds of guards, ushers, and medical teams, alongside costs for road closures. Direct expenses for these services range from 500,000 to 800,000 shekels.
Alongside infrastructure and security, there are incidental expenses including creator royalties (ACUM), salaries for musicians and technical staff, and budgets for advertising and branding, totaling an estimated 700,000 to 1,000,000 shekels. In total, the overall production cost is estimated at 4.5 to 5.5 million shekels.
After offsetting direct production costs and VAT, the total net profit before income taxes is estimated at approximately 2 million shekels, which is divided according to commercial contracts between the artist and the producers.
