Samsung has launched its new Galaxy Tab S12 tablet series in Israel, featuring two premium models: the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra and the Galaxy Tab S12+. The new devices come with large displays, an upgraded processor, and artificial intelligence tools, targeting users who utilize tablets for work, studies, and content creation. Prices range from 3,979 shekels up to 7,099 shekels for the highest-end version.

Performance and Hardware Upgrades

A key upgrade in the new series is MediaTek's Dimensity 9500 processor. According to Samsung data, the Ultra model delivers up to a 19% improvement in CPU performance and up to a 61% boost in AI task processing compared to the previous generation. However, at least in the Ultra model, screen size and battery capacity remain unchanged.

In the software sector, Samsung has pre-installed Adobe Photoshop with a four-month free trial of premium features. Additionally, buyers will receive a six-month trial of the Google AI Pro service, alongside note-summary and information-organization tools powered by Galaxy AI. The S Pen stylus is included in the box at no extra charge.

Models, Specs, and Pricing

The Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra features a 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a thickness of just 5.1 mm. The Plus model offers a smaller 12.6-inch screen and a thickness of 5.3 mm. Both models support a 120 Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,600 nits.

The Galaxy Tab S12+ starts at 3,979 shekels for the Wi-Fi version with 256GB of storage, while the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra ranges up to 7,099 shekels for the 5G version with 1TB of storage and 16GB of RAM.

Both models offer IP68 water and dust resistance, and Samsung promises seven generations of operating system and security updates.
