Tesla Dashcam Footage Leads to Quick Arrests After Sachne Car Break-in
Three men were indicted for breaking into a car at the Sachne parking lot, with Tesla dashcam footage helping police recover stolen work tools within hours.
Three men were arrested hours after allegedly breaking into a vehicle at the Sachne parking lot near Nir David, stealing valuable tools and cash. According to the indictments, the suspects arrived in a Mazda early in the morning on September 15. A Tesla dashcam captured the entire incident, recording the suspects' license plate.
The footage led police straight to the perpetrators. Yarmouk Zuabi, Rami Shvili, and Mahdi Jaroushi were charged following a swift investigation by the Beit She'an police station, led by Superintendent Hadar Amar. Police successfully recovered the stolen equipment—valued at approximately 7,000 shekels—and returned it to the owner within hours.
The Northern prosecution office filed indictments at the Tiberias Magistrate's Court. All three face theft charges, while Zuabi and Shvili are also charged with conspiracy to commit a crime and breaking into a vehicle with intent to steal, following plans to target another vehicle.
