The Astral hotel chain announces an innovative move, the first of its kind in the Israeli hotel industry: a holographic avatar station based on artificial intelligence (AI), which provides guests with a smart, personal, and interactive welcome experience from the moment they enter the hotel. The first station will begin operating at the Queen of Sheba Hotel, and will later be implemented in all hotels in the chain.

The system, developed by the company EyeFeelIt, incorporates a life-sized holographic AI avatar that serves as a digital concierge and an independent check-in station. Through it, guests can check in and receive their room key independently, without waiting at the reception desk.

The process is short and simple: guests scan the QR code displayed on the hologram, complete the check-in process on their mobile device, and upon completion, receive the room key directly from the hologram. Furthermore, the avatar provides information about hotel services, recommends restaurants, attractions, and points of interest in the area, and accompanies guests throughout their stay.

Lior Bernman-Zavulon, VP of Marketing and Digital at the Astral hotel chain, noted:

"The commitment to excellence in service and the uncompromising pursuit of the best hospitality experience are at the core of the Astral chain's operations. We are proud to be the first hotel chain in Israel to launch such a solution. The combination of an interactive hologram and artificial intelligence allows us to provide guests with a fast, simple, and available-at-any-time check-in process. This is the first step in a broader move, during which we will examine the expansion of the technology to additional hotels in the chain, out of the belief that technological innovation and excellence in service go hand in hand."

Sharon Birnbaum, CEO of EyeFeelIt, stated:

"At EyeFeelIt, we believe that the hospitality experience of the future begins the moment the guest enters the hotel. The AI Avatar is much more than a check-in station – it is the first point of contact between the hotel and the guest, a digital concierge, and a smart service representative available around the clock. Our vision is for every guest to receive smart, personal, and available service from the very first moment, while combining technological innovation with a human hospitality experience. The collaboration with Astral is a significant step on the way to making this vision a reality."
