A Shocking Discovery in the Backyard
The event took place during a social gathering with her mother and family friends. While sneaking her first cigarette in the yard with a friend, Rose noticed a figure resembling a doll hanging from a playground slide. Upon closer inspection, they realized it was a real child bleeding from his ears, nose, and mouth.
Rose rushed to pick him up and carried him inside to get help. Although the boy was still breathing when the ambulance arrived, he was later declared brain-dead at the hospital.

The following day, police officers arrived at her high school to question her. As the investigation leaked among students, Rose faced intense bullying and severe accusations from her peers.
The turning point came thanks to the victim's older brother, who suffered from dissociative amnesia due to trauma. Once his memory returned, he informed police that it was a tragic accident, clearing Rose of any suspicion.
