Beloved actress Rona-Lee Shimon (42), who recently gave birth to her firstborn son, Oli Yonatan, decided on Wednesday night to turn on her camera and share with her social media followers the difficult struggle of balancing a demanding career with a sick child at home.

It all began when Shimon uploaded a photo of herself with little Oli and reached out to her audience for help following a long week of clinic visits: "From doctor to doctor all week. I am looking for a classical homeopath for children. Are there any here?" she asked.

Later, the actress uploaded a video describing the immense emotional difficulty of managing work days while her son is unwell: "In the midst of all this, my child has been sick at home for a week, and it is so heartbreaking to leave a sick child behind. I knew it would be hard, but I didn't imagine how hard it would be."

While sharing the update, Shimon fought back tears and added honestly: "No, I won't cry now. I really won't cry. But it is hard, it tears, it tears my soul apart."
