Rina Matzliach at 70: "Peak excitement!"
The esteemed journalist and media personality is launching a new project—a book based on her successful podcast: "Peak excitement, the book I have been working on for a year and a half has gone to print."
Many media figures find time for additional pursuits beyond their regular work, whether through advertising campaigns or personal hobbies. For Rina Matzliach, this represents a double achievement as she presents a new book of her own that is already generating significant interest.
At 70, Matzliach is launching a deeply personal project. The book, which is the result of complex and prolonged work, has finally gone to the printing press.
In an emotional social media post, Matzliach shared the journey behind the final product:
"Peak excitement! The book I have been working on for a year and a half has gone to print."
The book is based on the acclaimed series she has led in recent years. "I chose 20 conversations out of the 80 I held on my podcast 'Mom, Dad and I' and collected them into a book," Matzliach explained. She described the unique content gathered within the pages: "Reading the book creates an exciting mosaic of our parents' generation, most of whom are immigrants."
Matzliach concluded her remarks with a touching dedication to her parents, who served as the main inspiration for the entire project: "Mom and Dad, this book is dedicated to you with endless love."
