Tal Kenani Appointed CEO of Rav-Bariach as Shmuel Donnerstein Becomes Chairman
Shmuel Donnerstein returns as chairman of Rav-Bariach, while Tal Kenani takes over as CEO of the door and building-products manufacturer early next year.

Three years after stepping back into the day-to-day management of Rav-Bariach, controlling shareholder Shmuel Donnerstein is returning to the role of chairman. Tal Kenani will take over as CEO of the door and building-products manufacturer early next year.
As part of the leadership transition, Kenani—who has served for the past five years as CEO of the foamed-materials company Palziv—will assume the position of CEO at Rav-Bariach. Kenani replaces Donnerstein, who after three years will return to the role of chairman of the board, focusing on the group's strategic plans and growth engines. Giora Bar Dea, the current group chairman, will continue to serve as a director.
Kenani, 50, holds a bachelor's degree in economics and accounting from Tel Aviv University and an MBA from the University of Chicago. Prior to his tenure at Palziv, Kenani spent seven years in senior management roles in Israel and the United States with the Keter Plastic group.
Rav-Bariach noted that the move comes as part of the strategic plan led by Donnerstein in recent years, which has driven an improvement in business results, returning the company to a path of revenue growth and increased profits. This was achieved, among other things, by consolidating the company's factories into three central production sites, establishing a new steel door manufacturing plant in Ashkelon, and implementing efficiency measures that delivered significant cost savings.
"The strategic plan we led at Rav-Bariach in recent years has borne impressive fruit. Now, from a position of strength and continuing momentum, we are preparing for the group's next leap forward, and I am proud of Tal Kenani's joining to lead it as CEO," stated Shmuel Donnerstein, controlling shareholder of Rav-Bariach.
"Tal is a proven business and industrial leader who brings rich international experience and proven capabilities in growing industrial organizations on a significant scale. Tal as CEO will lead the group together with its experienced management to new achievements working alongside the board of directors headed by me as active chairman," Donnerstein concluded.
