Rani Rahav: 'I wish you were the shoe of Keren Marciano. You have a filthy mouth'
The news anchor presented the candidate who received support from Netanyahu, sparking a widespread discussion on social networks. A social activist sent a jab at Keren Marciano and Channel 12 journalists and got into trouble with PR expert Rani Rahav: 'You are a disgrace to Israeli society.'

Keren Marciano, an economic editor and anchor at Channel 12, sparked a widespread discussion on social networks after addressing the candidacy of Osnat Zohar, who sought a spot on the Likud list. In her program "Seven," Marciano discussed posts by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his son Yair, in which they expressed support for the candidate.
"Netanyahu tweets that he is not intervening in the national list and wishes everyone success. That is what he said yesterday. This morning, at 10:00, he is already intervening and writes: 'Osnat Zohar has worked for years for the sake of Likud and for me. I would be very happy to see her continue her activity in the Knesset.' Not long after, Yair Netanyahu says how much he supports Osnat Zohar for the new woman's slot. 'The most important thing is not to vote for Keren Atias Bublil because she is connected to Bitan and of course not to David Bitan himself.' David Bitan is on Netanyahu's hit list," said Marciano.
The anchor also highlighted an unusual post Zohar published on "Black Saturday." "Let us recall that the same Osnat Zohar whom Yair Netanyahu and the Prime Minister support published a conspiracy theory on the network. On October 7, she tweeted: 'In the morning when this thought crossed my mind, I said: "That's it, Osnat, you've lost your mind." But now it is clear to me beyond any doubt that this is a betrayal of the most insane levels that we are not even beginning to understand.'"
Social activist Igal Malka, chairman of the movement "The Jewish Majority for Preserving the Only State of the Jewish People," responded to Marciano on X: "Why is Osnat Zohar needed in Likud? Look at what she brings out of Marciano, that 'mazruba' (filthy woman), even before she has taken one step in politics. Someone new has entered, intelligent, articulate, educated. She hasn't even said hello yet, and the scum are already starting to blacken her name. There is scum working at Channel 12."
Rani Rahav, a well-known PR expert and critic of the Prime Minister, came to the defense of Marciano, writing on X:
"Mazruba? I wish you were the shoe of Keren Marciano! What a filthy mouth you have towards a woman who built a career with her own ten fingers. You are a disgrace to Israeli society. You and your friend Osnat are a disgrace! You failed. You thought everyone was stupid. Well no, everyone is smart."
