Rani Rahav criticizes Benjamin Netanyahu: 'Recalculate your route'

The Likud party experienced a particularly turbulent morning following the conclusion of the vote count in its primaries. The results revealed a dramatic turnaround, with many prominent and promising figures within the party finding themselves excluded or placed in positions on the list they had not anticipated.

Renowned Israeli public relations expert Rani Rahav took to his X page on Tuesday to address the surprising results:

"Benjamin, you lost big time! It is time for you to return to being the Benjamin Netanyahu I knew—a Zionist man with values, a patriot, straight as a ruler—and not what you have become: an inciter, a man who takes no responsibility for anything."

"The people will not tolerate your behavior, period!" Rahav stated. "The fact is that Likud voters did not listen to you, and more than that, half of the registered members did not come to vote! The people are asking to return to values, to the salt of the earth! The people want a prime minister who will support the Chief of Staff and the IDF. The people want their prime minister to take responsibility and establish a state commission of inquiry."

Rahav further criticized the government's legislative agenda: "The people are not ready to accept your draft dodgers law." He also directed sharp criticism at other right-wing parties: "The people will not be ready to accept the terrible phenomenon where Itamar Ben Gvir, Bezalel Smotrich, and the ultra-Orthodox, none of whom did full military service, will control Israel's agenda! The people will no longer accept a prime minister who says 'until total victory' and in reality lies to his people! Recalculate your route, and immediately."
