After a five-year hiatus, Ran Danker is returning to Israel's legendary Hanukkah stage, taking on the role of the main villain in the "TOP SECRET Festigal". At the festive launch event, the 42-year-old star addressed a question on many Israelis' minds: how much money does he actually make?
In an interview with tmi, Danker responded with characteristic cynicism when told that money tipped the scale. "Not enough, not enough. You can always have more, they can always pay more. But the moment they told me 'you're going to be the villain,' I said I DO."
Asked directly if the sums reach hundreds of thousands of shekels, Danker ramped up the humor and poked fun at a young pop star: "For me, it's millions. Just multiply what they pay Noa Kirel by about six." He joked that he needs to do 50 Festigals a year to afford a luxury wedding with yachts in Portofino, playfully referencing Omer Adam's recent Italian nuptials.
