Rami Levy and its subsidiary Rami Levy Stock announced a product recall for children's tricycles due to safety concerns regarding a sudden detachment risk of the parental push handle. The affected item is a 6-in-1 multi-functional tricycle manufactured by the Chinese company Lunabo and imported by Orshar Initiative Investments and Real Estate. Customers who purchased the tricycle are urged to immediately stop using the handle and return the product to any branch for a full refund or repair with compensation.
The recall comes just days after the retail chain aggressively promoted the item at a discounted price. Social media platforms have already featured videos documenting the product breaking apart during use. Rami Levy stated that upon receiving information raising safety concerns, the chain immediately pulled the product from its shelves even before issuing a public recall notice, emphasizing that customer safety remains its top priority.
