Musa Yousef Al-Jabour, 26, was shot and killed on Saturday in Rahat. A gunman initially shot him in the leg inside a room, dragged him out into the street, continued shooting at him, and then ran him over with a vehicle.

Police initially stated that the primary suspicion for the shooting was a family feud, but it now appears to stem from an ongoing parking dispute that flared up a few days ago. Upon receiving the report, officers from the Rahat police station rushed to the scene, launched an investigation, and began gathering evidence while conducting extensive sweeps to locate the suspects.

The murder in Rahat follows a two-week period of relative calm in Arab society. Earlier, Mohammad Samer Yassin, a resident of Tamra, was shot dead in the local council of Kabul in the Western Galilee. His cousin, Jawad Yassin, was murdered in February of last year. Since the beginning of the year, 177 people have been murdered within Arab society, compared to 198 during the same period last year.
