For a long time, the police have been conducting a covert investigation into the incident, which revealed that four residents of Rahat threatened the operator of a meat distribution line in the regional council in order to prevent him from continuing his activity in the area.
As the investigation progressed, detectives from the Negev Central Unit arrested the four suspects, all in their 30s, within the territory of the Eshkol Regional Council on suspicion of involvement in extortion offenses.
