Four injured in accident on Highway 92, two in serious condition

Four people were injured this morning, Monday, in a traffic accident on Highway 92, near Moshav Ramot in the Golan Heights. A young man and a young woman in their 20s were seriously injured, and two other young women were moderately and lightly injured.

Four people were injured this morning, Monday, in a traffic accident on Highway 92, near Moshav Ramot in the Golan Heights. A young man and a young woman in their 20s were seriously injured, and two other young women were moderately and lightly injured.

According to MADA, three vehicles were involved in the accident. Medics and paramedics called to the scene provided medical treatment to the four injured, and a MADA Hatzala-Air helicopter landed near the site for evacuation.

Dr. Dov Marten, a volunteer doctor at United Hatzalah, and medics Waam Batish and Eid Abu Awad stated:

"We provided medical assistance at the scene to a young man and a young woman in their 20s, who suffered from bruises and head injuries. Their condition was defined as serious and they were evacuated to the hospital by helicopter."

They further added that two young women, about 20 years old, were moderately and lightly injured. After receiving initial medical treatment at the scene, they were evacuated to the hospital for further care.

Orel Biton, a MADA medic, said:

"This is a serious traffic accident. We arrived at the scene and saw chaos. We saw two vehicles, one of them in the center of the road and the second in a ditch on the side of the road. A young woman about 20 years old was lying on the road unconscious, with injuries to her head and limbs; we provided her with medical treatment that included anesthesia and ventilation. In addition, there was another young man at the scene who was conscious and suffered from a severe abdominal injury; they were evacuated by helicopter to Rambam Hospital while receiving continued medical treatment. We evacuated the rest of the injured from the scene to the hospital while they were fully conscious and their condition was stable."
