Terrorist Neutralized After Attempting to Attack IDF Forces in Qabatiya
IDF Paratrooper forces neutralized a terrorist who attempted to throw an explosive device during operations in Qabatiya, within the Menashe Regional Brigade sector.
An IDF Paratrooper reconnaissance unit successfully neutralized an armed terrorist in the Qabatiya area, located within the Menashe Regional Brigade sector, earlier this week. The terrorist attempted to hurl an explosive device at the troops during an offensive operation.
Another force operating nearby identified the threat and opened fire, scoring a direct hit that neutralized the attacker. The explosive device detonated near the terrorist as a result. No IDF injuries were reported during the engagement.
Following the incident, troops conducted sweeping searches in the vicinity, discovering an additional improvised explosive device on the suspect's body that he had not yet managed to throw. The device was subsequently dismantled in a controlled explosion by engineering units.
