Forecast: partly cloudy, with a significant drop in temperatures
Following the easing of the heatwave, Israel expects partly cloudy skies and a further drop in temperatures. On Saturday, unseasonal rain is possible in the east of the country.
After a significant easing of the heatwave, the weather today, Thursday, will be partly cloudy and temperatures will continue to drop, although humidity levels will rise.
Tomorrow, further relief in temperatures is expected; it will be partly cloudy, and light rain is possible in the morning along the coastal plain and in the north. On Saturday, a slight warming will be felt, and rain is possible in the east of the country, which is unusual for the season. The wave height in the Mediterranean Sea will reach about 80 cm.
Forecasted maximum temperatures for today: in Safed — 32 degrees, Haifa — 31, Tel Aviv — 32, Jerusalem — 33, Beersheba — 37, Mitzpe Ramon — 34, and in Eilat — 40 degrees.
