An indictment was filed on Monday at the District Court in Lod against three defendants—two cousins in their 20s from Ramle and Lod, and a resident of Jaffa—who conspired to carry out four violent robberies targeting delivery workers, stealing property worth tens of thousands of shekels.

Police officers from the Lod station launched an investigation following a violent robbery on July 23, during which masked individuals attacked a delivery worker, smashed his car window, and stole his belongings.

Through investigative efforts, police identified a recurring modus operandi and tracked the suspects. Undercover and special patrol units conducted an operation, resulting in the arrest of the suspects on August 7, just minutes after they allegedly committed another robbery.

According to the indictment, the female defendant would place orders from various businesses using fake names and addresses, then notify her accomplices of the delivery details. Upon the arrival of the delivery workers, the two men would lie in wait while masked, attack the victims, and rob them of their deliveries, cash, and property.

"The Israel Police will continue to act with determination and with all the means at its disposal against criminal cells that commit robbery and violence, with the aim of bringing them to justice and ensuring the safety and security of the public," the police stated.
