For the second time this month: Masked individual shatters entrance door at News 12
Less than a month after a previous incident, the News 12 building in Tel Aviv was targeted again as a masked individual shattered the glass entrance door. This follows a series of vandalism acts and threatening graffiti directed at the media outlet.
A masked individual shattered the glass entrance door of the News 12 building in Tel Aviv tonight, Tuesday, marking the second such incident this month. Earlier in the month, another unknown person smashed the glass doors at the entrance before fleeing the scene. Police officers summoned to the area have opened an investigation into the property damage. At this stage, no suspect has been arrested, and their identity remains unknown, according to police sources.
Security camera footage shows the suspect approaching the building with their face covered, holding two bricks, and throwing them one after another at the entrance. The glass shattered, and the suspect fled before authorities could arrive.
These events follow another act of vandalism where a graffiti message was sprayed near the News 12 studios:
"To the criminal police and the channels of evil and folly against those who study the holy Torah, I will settle the score with you - you have been warned, you are dead men."
An investigation was opened regarding that incident as well, though the suspect has not yet been located.
Similar incidents against media outlets have occurred in the past. In November 2025, a graffiti message was sprayed on the Reshet 13 building in Ramat HaHayal, Tel Aviv, reading: "The blood of the traitors will yet be permitted for publication." An investigation was also launched in that case.
Investigators are now working to determine who is behind these acts, why news buildings were specifically targeted, and whether these are isolated incidents or a coordinated effort to send a message. The investigation remains ongoing.
