IRGC Spokesperson: UK Will Become a 'Legitimate Target' If It Supports the USA
The spokesperson for Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) declared that the UK will become a "legitimate target" if it supports the USA in the war, following reports that American bombers used a British base for recent strikes.

The spokesperson for Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) escalated threats today, Saturday, declaring that the UK will become a "legitimate target" if it supports the USA in the war, reports the Reuters news agency. According to the spokesperson, any country, including the UK and Gulf states, that assists the American military in its strikes against Iran will be considered a "legitimate target." He further claimed that the UK assisted American bomber aircraft during the recent strikes.
Just last Thursday, the IRGC announced that the American military used bombers that took off from the UK, and therefore the kingdom has been added to the IRGC's list of targets.
"The United States military used bombers in its strikes yesterday that took off from Fairford base in the UK. Any base used to carry out attacks against the territory of Iran is considered a legitimate target for our forces," the statement read.
About a week ago, the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson warned Bulgaria against allowing the USA to use its territory for military operations against Iran. The Bulgarian government announced it would seek parliamentary approval to station up to eight American refueling aircraft at an airbase in the country, which is a member of NATO and the European Union.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei stated that any activity assisting American strikes against Iran would constitute, in his words, complicity in "aggression and war crimes," according to Iranian state media. Baghaei further called on Bulgaria not to become a "partner to criminals."
