Stabbing at the "Drama" club in Tel Aviv: Two security guards injured, suspects arrested
Two suspects were arrested shortly after stabbing two security guards at a nightclub on Pijotto Street in Tel Aviv early this morning. The victims were hospitalized with injuries ranging from light to moderate.
Two suspects in the stabbing of two security guards at a nightclub on Pijotto Street in Tel Aviv were arrested early this morning, minutes after the incident, by officers from the Lev Tel Aviv police station in the Yarkon district. The suspects were apprehended while riding a scooter, on which bloodstains were discovered.
Police reported that a brawl broke out at the club, resulting in the stabbing of two security guards. The victims were evacuated for medical treatment, with their conditions described as light and moderate, according to medical sources.
Officers from the Lev Tel Aviv station arrived at the scene and conducted an investigation, including the collection of witness testimonies, which allowed them to quickly identify and arrest the suspects in the Tel Aviv area.
The suspects, residents of Ashdod and Lod in their 20s, have been transferred for questioning and will be brought before the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court for a hearing regarding the extension of their detention.
