Over 100 gamblers, slot machines, and drugs seized in police raids in Haifa and Kiryat Yam

Police detectives raided two gambling houses on HaMaklef Street, detained those present, and seized computer drives, cash, and documents. In a separate operation in Kiryat Yam, ketamine, 'dosa', and marijuana were found in a residential apartment, and a suspect was arrested.

Over 100 gamblers were found last night, Thursday, during a police raid on two illegal gambling houses in Haifa. In another operation in Kiryat Yam, police raided a residential apartment where, according to the police, drugs including ketamine, 'dosa', and marijuana were seized.

As part of a proactive operation by officers of the Zevulun station of the Asher district against illegal gambling hubs, police detectives, in cooperation with YASAM fighters and patrol teams, raided two locations on HaMaklef Street in Haifa.

During the raids, police found over 100 gamblers around poker tables and slot machines. In addition, operator stations, about 15 computer drives, slot machines, security cameras, cash, and various documents were seized.

The gamblers were detained for questioning at the Zevulun station, and at the same time, the police initiated an administrative procedure to close the locations.

In a separate operation against drug offenses in Kiryat Yam, station detectives raided a residential apartment. According to the police, ketamine, 'dosa', and marijuana were seized during the search. The occupant of the apartment was arrested and transferred for questioning.
