Maybe next time? Liel Eli reveals she auditioned for 'Dancing with the Stars'
While the current season of 'Dancing with the Stars' is in full swing, internet personality Liel Eli revealed that she auditioned for the show just before becoming pregnant with her daughter, Arieli.
Liel Eli is a busy internet personality who, for the past two years, has been interviewing Israel's most intriguing figures in 60-second segments on the V1 app. Among her guests was 'Dancing with the Stars' judge Anna Aronov, who was surprised to discover that Eli almost ended up competing on the dance floor (catch the new episode Saturday night after the news on Keshet 12).
When Aronov suggested that Eli join the show, she was taken aback by the influencer's response: "Have you ever watched me dance? Haim gave me an audition a minute and a half before I got pregnant, and then they reached out again a year later—but I was at the peak of my pregnancy with Arieli." As it happens, Eli gave birth to her firstborn daughter nine months ago, making the timing for the dance competition less than ideal.
While she hasn't made it to the stage yet, the internet star took the opportunity to show off a few moves to judge Aronov, who offered some encouraging feedback: "Such length in the arms—keep practicing!"
