Beyoncé is expanding her list of titles and is now the sole owner of her whiskey brand, SirDavis. According to a report by Reuters, the American singer has acquired the stake held by luxury giant LVMH in the brand she founded.

Beyoncé partnered with LVMH in 2024 to establish the brand, joining a series of similar collaborations between fashion houses and celebrities, such as the deal between the champagne brand Armand de Brignac—also owned by LVMH—and Beyoncé's husband, the musician Jay-Z. However, the most well-known example of such collaborations remains George Clooney's tequila brand, Casamigos, which was sold to Diageo in 2017 for 700 million dollars, or Ryan Reynolds' sale of his gin brand for 600 million dollars.

Beyoncé's brand is named after her great-grandfather, Davis Hogue, who produced alcoholic beverages in Texas during the Prohibition era. The brand maintains its Texan roots, with the whiskey produced in Houston, the singer's hometown.

Her move comes at an opportune time for the industry, as the whiskey market is projected to reach a value of 85 billion dollars by 2028. While the financial details of the deal were not disclosed, it is well within the means of the singer, who became a billionaire last December according to Forbes magazine.

Most of her wealth is derived from album sales and highly successful concert tours. For instance, the 'Cowboy Carter' tour generated over 400 million dollars in ticket sales and an additional 50 million dollars from merchandise. In addition to her whiskey brand, she also owns the hair care line Cécred and the clothing brand Ivy Park.
