No red in the hall: Daniel Amit and Emily Damari got married
Emily Damari and food blogger Daniel Amit celebrated their wedding this evening at an event hall in Tel Aviv, alongside dozens of celebrities and former hostages who came to celebrate with them under a particularly strict rule.
"Only love will win," wrote 36-year-old food blogger Daniel Amit in a touching Instagram post, just hours before standing under the chuppah this evening with her partner, 30-year-old former hostage Emily Damari.
Just seven months after revealing their relationship to the world with a joint photo, the two are celebrating their love at a star-studded event at the Sheva event hall in Tel Aviv. In the first couple photo from the wedding day, the two presented a polished look: Amit chose a wedding dress designed by Uria Azran, while Damari appeared in a classic white suit.
Damari, a die-hard Maccabi Tel Aviv fan, had a clear threshold condition for guests: no entry for anyone wearing red. The love for the team was also prominent in their unique "save the date" photos, which were taken during the State Cup final in soccer.
As recalled, a year after her release from captivity in Gaza, the former hostage decided to propose to Daniel Amit after a six-month relationship, to which she naturally said yes. Family members, friends, and a host of celebrities flocked to the Sheva hall to celebrate with the couple, including their close circle of friends and former hostages: Gali and Zivi Berman, Itay Regev, and Omer Shem-Tov.
Among the guests were Danit Greenberg, Maya Kay in a pink dress accompanied by Idan Cohen, Hadar Shiri in a gold dress, and Tikva Gideon, Aviv Geffen and his wife Sharon Kaufman, who arrived smiling straight from the wedding carnival of Omer Adam and Sasha in Portofino, as well as content creators and influencers: Maya Wertheimer and her husband Asaf Zamir, Liel Eli and Shai Amar, Eden Daniel Gabay, Likush Menachem, Tal Morad, Tomer Talias, and Gal Zahavi.
