Starting tonight: Major road closures at one of Israel's busiest interchanges
Drivers take note: Construction work on the HaShalom Bridge in Tel Aviv will lead to significant traffic changes over the coming nights and throughout the weekend. Here are the details of the closures.

The Ayalon Highways company and the Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipality are continuing work to upgrade the HaShalom Bridge. As part of the project, the company announced that the exit to Ayalon North from the west will be blocked over the coming nights and throughout the weekend. Highway 20 (Ayalon) will remain open to traffic as usual.
The exit to Ayalon North for those coming from the direction of Tel Aviv will be blocked on Sunday through Wednesday nights, August 23–26, 2026, from 22:00 until 05:00. Subsequently, the closure will be in effect continuously from 00:00 on Thursday, August 27, until 05:00 on Sunday, August 30.
Traffic arrangements:

For those coming from the west, one traffic lane will be reduced.

The left turn to Ayalon North (Highway 20) will not be possible for those coming from the west.

Highway 20 (Ayalon) will remain open to traffic throughout the entire work period.

Travel on the HaShalom Bridge will be possible as usual in both directions.

Safe passage will be provided for pedestrians.

The work will be carried out with the assistance of traffic inspectors stationed at the site.

Public transport will operate as usual.
In conclusion, the Ayalon Highways company stated: "Drivers are advised to follow the instructions of the traffic inspectors and drive according to the temporary traffic arrangements at the site."
